Senior Compliance Officer (Internal Audit)

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Compliance Officer (Internal Audit) to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for internal audit assignments and other compliance projects.

What you’ll do

• Engage in internal audit and internal controls projects, focusing on the design and operating effectiveness of compliance processes.
• Participate in compliance and operational process projects to ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards.
• Develop process flows, narratives, and risk & control matrices to document and assess compliance processes.
• Identify process gaps and provide targeted recommendations for improvement based on industry standards.
• Perform and review tests of design and operating effectiveness, suggesting enhancements to improve the client’s control framework.
• Document testing workpapers in line with defined standards and quality benchmarks.
• Monitor project progress, manage multiple assignments, and lead project teams when required.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.

What we expect you to bring

• Experience: 2-3 years in internal audit and/or compliance within financial services, ideally at Fintech or Payment institutions
• Stakeholder Management: excellent skills in managing and communicating with stakeholders at all organizational levels
• Experience in report writing and regulatory submissions
• Operational Efficiency: Proven track record in coordinating with stakeholders, managing third-party data analysis, and working on multiple projects simultaneously
