Risk Assessment Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our Underwriting team in the
role of Risk Assessment Specialist. You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing and
mitigating potential risks across the organization. This role involves conducting thorough risk
assessments, developing risk management strategies, and ensuring compliance with relevant
regulations and standards.

Your responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards and vulnerabilities,
  encompassing evaluations performed during onboarding processes and post-approval
  control activities
• Perform CDD and EDD on potential partners according to the relevant regulatory
  requirements and industry standards
• Evaluate business models and propose criteria and underwriting flow for new verticals
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
• Collect KYB/KYC documents and check against Paynetics Acceptance policy
• Develop and maintain risk registers and databases

Our Requirements:

• University degree
• 1+ years of experience in the field of card acceptance business
• Knowledge of AML Rules & Regulations
• Good understanding of advanced Internet technologies, the online presence and virtual identity
• Legal background is considered an advantage
• Good decision-making, analytical and logical skills
• Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
• Good communication skills
• Very good command of English – written and spoken.
