KYC Intern

Paynetics is a leading fintech company, founder of the Bulgarian Fintech Association. Grounded in
payment services, with offices in Bulgaria and the UK, we have built a team of passionate and
enthusiastic professionals, on a mission to change the world of payments.

We have launched the first mobile payment app in Bulgaria, the first utilities payment app in the UK, one
of the fist automated loyalty solutions in the US and a game changing payment acceptance solution with
patent pending.

We are looking for a motivated KYC (Know Your Customer) Intern to join our team. This role is a great
opportunity for a proactive individual eager to gather hands-on experience in customer onboarding,
verification, account closure, and redemption processing.

As KYC (Know Your Customer) Intern you will:

• Support in reviewing verification requests of onboarded customers by data and / or document
  collection and validation, conduct basic Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and sanctions checks, conduct
  open-source searches and documenting the results as per internal procedures
• Participate in the assessment and approval process of documents provided for account closures and
  redemptions inquiries
• Collaborate with other internal departments to resolve various requests related to customer
  onboarding
• Assist in maintaining accurate customer information in the database and ensure all registers are up to
  date
• Support the team members in the preparation of reports with low to medium complexity

What we’re looking for:

• Ambitions to grow in the online payments field
• A proactive attitude with a strong work ethic, persistence, and eagerness to learn
• At least 3rd or 4th year student in the field of Economics, Finance or related field
• Good command of both written and verbal English
• Good PC literacy – MS Office, Outlook, Internet
• Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
• Attention to details, problem-solving capabilities and ability to work collaboratively in a team
  environment
